DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number 99-TJ-005, between the City of Saint Ansgar and the Iowa Department of Transportation, transferred that portion of Unsigned Iowa 973 from Main Street at the north corporation line; then southerly on Main Street to 4th Street; then on 4th Street to .06 miles west of Park Street to city jurisdiction on November 5, 2001.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended to approve deleting the present description of Unsigned Iowa 973 and its extensions in Mitchell County from the Primary Road System.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to the transfer of jurisdiction agreements on Iowa 105 in the other portions of Mitchell County, Iowa 105 became Unsigned Iowa 973 in 1993.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that Unsigned Iowa 973 in Mitchell County, as described in the attachment, be added to the Primary Road System.

Description of Unsigned Iowa 973 in St. Ansgar is as follows:

St. Ansgar:

Beginning on Main Street at the north corporation line; thence southerly on Main Street to 4th Street; thence on 4th Street to .06 mile west of Park Street.
