TITLE: Iowa 307 and its extension in Madison County

Remove Iowa 307 and its extension in Madison County, Iowa as follows:

Beginning at a point near the NW Corner Section 6‑T74N‑R27W; thence east following substantially the section line to a point approximately 1,200 feet west of the N ¼ Corner Section 3‑T74N‑R27W; thence curving in a southeasterly and southerly direction to a point approximately 1,200 feet south of the N ¼ Corner Section 3‑T74N‑R27W, and continuing southerly to a point near the center of Section 3-T74N‑R27W; thence curving southeasterly, and continuing in a southeasterly direction to a point on the north corporation line of the Town of East Peru, connecting with an unnamed street.

East Peru:

Commencing on an unnamed street at the north corporation line; thence southeasterly on unnamed street approximately 4,748 feet to Short Street; thence south on Short Street one block to Main Street; thence west on Main Street one block to Florence Street.

NOW, THEREFORE: Be it resolved that the Iowa State Highway Commission approve the removal of Iowa 307 in Madison County, Iowa.

NOTE: The section of Iowa 307 from near the NW Corner Section 6‑T74N‑R27W easterly to the north corporation line of the Town of East Peru will be transferred to the Madison County Secondary Road System in accordance with Section 313.2, Code of Iowa and an agreement dated May 2, 1974. The extension of Iowa 307 in East Peru will revert to the City Street System in accordance with Urban Policy 2600‑001‑E7.

To become effective when relocated US 169 is open to traffic.
