Beginning at a point approximately 600 feet south of the NE Corner of Section 19‑T98N‑R47W (junction US 18); thence north following substantially the section line of Section 20‑T98N‑R47W to the south corporation line of Inwood connecting with Oak Street.

Inwood:

Beginning on Oak Street at the south corporation line; thence north on Oak Street to the north corporation line.

Beginning again on the north corporation line of Inwood connecting with Oak Street; thence north following substantially the section line of Sections 8 and 5‑T98N‑R47W and Section 32, 29, 20, 17, 8, and 5‑T99N‑R47W to a point near the NW Corner of Section 5‑T99N‑R47W (junction Iowa 9).

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to a review of our Primary Road System records, Iowa 182 in Lyon County should be deleted from the Primary Road System and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary Road System.

Iowa 182 begins near south edge of Inwood and travels in a northerly direction via Inwood terminating at junction Iowa 9 approximately 1 mile south of Larchwood, Iowa.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Iowa 182 and its extension in Lyon County, Iowa as follows:

Beginning at a point approximately 600 feet south of the NE Corner of Section 19‑T98N-R47W (junction US 18); thence north substantially following section line of Section 20-T98N‑R47W to the south corporation line of the City of Inwood connecting with an unnamed street.

Inwood:

Beginning on the south corporation line connecting with an unnamed street; thence northerly to the north corporation line connecting with an unnamed street.

Beginning again on the north corporation line of the City of Inwood, connecting with an unnamed street; thence north following substantially the section line of Sections 8 and 5‑T98N‑R48W, Sections 32, 29, 20, 17, 8 and 5‑T99N‑R47W and Section 32‑T100N‑R47W to a point approximately 850 feet north of the SW Corner of said Section 32 (junction Iowa 9).

NOW, THEREFORE: Be it resolved that the Iowa Department of Transportation approve the location of Iowa 182, Lyon County, Iowa.

NOTE: To become effective upon the adoption of this resolution.
