Beginning at a point near the NW Corner of Section 27‑T75N‑R3W (junction of US 61); thence east following substantially the section line of Section 27‑T75N‑R3W to the west corporation line of Grandview connecting with Jackson Street.

Grandview:

Beginning on Jackson Street at the west corporation line; thence east on Jackson Street to Main Street; thence south on Main Street to Vernon Street.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to a review of our Primary Road System records, Iowa 252 in Louisa County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary Road System.

Iowa 252 begins at the junction of US 61 approximately ¼ mile west of Grandview, Iowa and travels easterly terminating in Grandview, Iowa.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Iowa 252 and its extension in Louisa County as follows:

Beginning at a point near the NW Corner of Section 27‑T75N‑R3W (junction of US 61); thence easterly following substantially the section line of Section 27-T75N‑R3W to the west corporation line of the City of Grandview connecting with an unnamed street.

Grandview:

Beginning on the west corporation line, connecting with an unnamed street; thence easterly and southerly to Vernon Street.

NOW, THEREFORE: Be it resolved that the Iowa Department of Transportation approve the location of Iowa 252 in Louisa County, Iowa.

NOTE: To become effective upon the adoption of this resolution.
