US
18 begins on the Kossuth‑Palo Alto County line approximately two miles
northwest of Whittemore, Iowa, and travels in an easterly direction via the
cities of Algona and Wesley, Iowa to the Kossuth‑Hancock County line
approximately one mile east of Wesley, Iowa.
Due
to an annexation to the City of Algona, Iowa, US 18 in
PROPOSAL/ACTION
RECOMMENDATION:
It
is recommended that the old description of US 18 in Kossuth County be deleted
and the new description, as referred to in the attached detailed description, be included in the primary road system.
