DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to a review of our Primary Road System records, Iowa 136 in Jones County should be deleted from the Primary Road System and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary Road System.

Iowa 136 begins on the Jones‑Clinton County line approximately 2 ½ miles southeast of Oxford Junction, Iowa and travels in a westerly and northerly direction via Oxford Junction, Wyoming, Onslow and Cascade, Iowa to the Jones-Dubuque County line in Cascade, Iowa.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Iowa 136 and its extensions in Jones County as follows:

Beginning on the Jones‑Clinton County line at a point near the E ¼ Corner of Section 25-T83N‑R1W, Jones County (W ¼ Corner of Section 30‑T83N‑R1E, Clinton County); thence in a northwesterly direction through Sections 25, 26, 23 and 22‑T83N‑R1W to the east corporation line of the City of Oxford Junction connecting with an unnamed street.
