DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to a review of our Primary Road System records, Iowa 1 in Johnson County should be deleted from the Primary Road System and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary Road System.

Iowa 1 begins at the Johnson‑Washington County line approximately 6 miles east of the Johnson‑Iowa County line and travels in a northerly and northeasterly direction to the Johnson‑Linn County line approximately 3 ½ miles north of Solon via the cities of Iowa City and Solon, Iowa.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Iowa 1 and its extensions in Johnson County, Iowa, as follows:
