DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to a review of our Primary System records, the primary route description for Interstate 380 in Johnson County was revised.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

New Description - Interstate 380 and its extensions in Johnson County described as follows:

Coralville:

Beginning at the junction of Interstate 80, connecting with US 218 (near the W ¼ Corner Section 35-T80N-R7W); thence northerly on US 218 to the north corporation line/south corporation line of North Liberty (approximately 2750 feet south of the N ¼ Corner NE ¼ of Section 22-T80N-R7W).

North Liberty:

Beginning on the south corporation line, connecting with US 218 (approximately 2750 feet south of the N ¼ NE ¼ Corner Section 22-T80N-R7W); thence northerly on US 218 to the north corporation line (N ¼ Corner NE ¼ of Section 22-T80N-R7W).

Beginning again on the north corporation line of North Liberty, connecting with US 218 (N ¼ Corner NE ¼ of Section 22-T80N-R7W); thence northerly direction following substantially the E ¼ section line of Sections 15, 10, and 3-T80N-R7W; thence continuing in a northwesterly direction through Sections 34, 27, 22, 15, 16, and 9-T81N-R7W to the south corporation line of Shueyville connecting with an unnamed street (approximately 700 feet east and 1334 feet south of the Center of said Section 9).

Shueyville:

Beginning on an unnamed street at the south corporation line; thence northwesterly on said unnamed street to the west corporation line (approximately 1047 feet north and 38 feet west of the Center Section 9-T81N-R7W).

Beginning on the west corporation line of Shueyville connecting with an unnamed street; thence northwesterly and northerly through Section 9 and 4-T81N-R7W to the Johnson-Linn County line at a point near the N ¼ Corner Section 4-T81N-R7W, Johnson County (S ¼ Corner Section 33-T82N-R7W, Linn County).
