Beginning on the east corporation line of Maquoketa, connecting with an unnamed street; thence northeasterly through Section 20‑T84N‑R3E to a point approximately 1,126 feet east of the NW Corner Section 20‑T84N‑R3E and continuing in a northeasterly direction through Sections 17, 16, 9, 4, and 3‑T84N‑R3E to a point 857 feet east of the SW Corner Section 34‑T85N‑R3E: then northeasterly and curving northerly through Section 34‑T85N‑R3E to a point approximately 1,000 feet west of the NE Corner of said Section 34 and continuing northerly through Section 27‑T85N‑R3E to the south corporation line of Andrew, connecting with Jefferson Street.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to a review of the Primary Road System records, Iowa 62 in Jackson County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary Road System.

Iowa 62 begins at the junction of Iowa 64 in Maquoketa, Iowa and travels in a northeasterly direction via Andrew, Iowa terminating at the junction of US 52 in Bellevue, Iowa.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Iowa 62 and its extensions in Jackson County as follows:

Maquoketa:

Beginning on an unnamed street at East Platt Street; thence northeasterly to the east corporation line connecting with an unnamed street.
