Wayland:

Beginning on an unnamed street at the west corporation line; thence northeasterly and southeasterly on unnamed street to the east corporation line.

Due to a review of Primary Road System records, Iowa 78 in Henry County should be deleted, and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary Road System.

Iowa 78 begins it the Henry‑Jefferson County line in Coppock traveling in a southeasterly direction to the Henry‑Louisa County line, 3 miles northeast of Mount Union via the Cities of Wayland and Olds, Iowa

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Iowa 78 and its extensions in Henry County as follows:

Coppock:

Beginning on an unnamed street at the Henry‑Jefferson County line; thence in a generally easterly direction to the east corporation line connecting with an unnamed street.

Beginning on the east corporation line of the City of Coppock connecting with an unnamed street; thence in a southeasterly direction through Sections 6 and 5-T73N‑R7W to a point approximately 1000 feet east of the SW Corner said Section 5; thence easterly following substantially the section line of Sections 8 and 9‑T73N‑R7W to the west corporation line of the City of Wayland connecting with an unnamed street.
