Beginning at a point near the NW Corner Section 15‑T70N‑R42W (junction of US 275); thence east following substantially the section line of Sections 15, 14, and 13‑T70N‑R42W and Sections 18, 17, and 16‑T70N‑R41W to the west corporation line of Randolph connecting with Randolph Street.

Randolph:

Beginning at the west corporation line connecting with Randolph Street; thence east on Randolph Street to the east corporation line.

Beginning again on the east corporation line of Randolph, connecting with Randolph Street; thence east following substantially the section line of Sections 16, 15, 14, and 13‑T70N‑R41W and Sections 18, 17, 16, 15, 14 and 13‑T70N‑R40W to a point approximately 700 feet west of the NE Corner Section 13‑T70N‑R40W; thence curving in a southeasterly direction to a point approximately 700 feet south of the NE Corner Section 13‑T70N‑R40W, Fremont County (NW Corner Section 18‑T70N‑R39W, Page County) (junction US 59).

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to a review of our Primary Road System records, Iowa 184 in Fremont County should be deleted and the new description should be officially included into the Primary Road System.

Iowa 184 begins at the junction US 275 one mile south of Tabor, and travels in an easterly direction terminating at junction US 59 at the Fremont‑Page County line two miles east of Imogene, via the City of Randolph, Iowa.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Iowa 184 and its extensions in Fremont County as follows:

Beginning at a point near the NW Corner Section 15‑T70N‑R42W (junction of US 275); thence east following substantially the section line of Sections 15, 14, and 13‑T70N‑R42W and Sections 18, 17, and 16T70N‑R41W to the west corporation line of the City of Randolph connecting with an unnamed street.

Randolph:

Beginning at the west corporation line connecting with an unnamed street; thence easterly to the east corporation line connecting with an unnamed street.

Beginning again on the east corporation line of the City of Randolph, connecting with an unnamed street; thence east following substantially the section line of Sections 16, 15, 14, and 13‑T70N‑R41W and Sections 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, and 13‑T70N-R40W to a point approximately 700 feet west of the NE Corner Section 13‑T70N‑R40W; thence curving in a southeasterly direction to a point approximately 700 feet south of the NE Corner Section 13‑T70N-R40W (junction of US 59).

NOW, THEREFORE: Be it resolved that the Iowa Department of Transportation approve the location of Iowa 134 in Fremont County, Iowa.

NOTE: To become effective upon adoption of this resolution.
