DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Iowa 174 in Fremont County has been resurfaced per agreement between the State of Iowa and the County Board of Supervisors of Fremont County dated March 7, 1968 and amendment to that agreement dated March 4, 1970. Disposition of Iowa 174 from the State Primary System should be made.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Remove Iowa 174 and its extension in Fremont County as follows:

Rural

Beginning on the north corporation line of the City of Farragut, connecting with an unnamed street; thence in a northerly direction to a point approximately 600 feet south of the SE Corner Section 31‑T69N‑R40W; thence north following substantially the section line to a point near the NE Corner Section 19‑T69N‑R40W.

Farragut

Commencing at the intersection of Porter Street and Hartford Avenue; thence northerly on Hartford Avenue to unnamed street; thence northeasterly on unnamed street to the north corporation line.
