DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:
Unsigned Iowa 955 begins at US 61 and US 151 approximately 1 mile south
of the southernmost corporation line of Dubuque,
and travels generally northwesterly and northerly approximately a mile to
Unsigned Iowa 963.
Due to a
review of our Primary Road System Records Unsigned Iowa 955 in Dubuque County should be deleted and the new
description added should be officially included into the Primary System.
PROPOSAL/ACTION
RECOMMENDATION:
It is
recommended that the old description of Unsigned Iowa 955 in Dubuque County
be deleted and the new description, as referred in the attached detailed
description, be included in the Primary Road System
effective upon the adoption of this resolution.
Locate
Unsigned Iowa 955 in Dubuque
County as follows:
Beginning at
a point in the NW ¼ Section 13‑T88N‑R2E (junction US 61 and US
151); thence northwesterly and northerly through Sections 13, 12, and 11‑T88N‑R2E
to a point in the SE ¼ Section 11‑T88N‑R2E (junction Unsigned Iowa
963).

PROPOSAL/ACTION
RECOMMENDATION:
Beginning
near the W ¼ Corner SW ¼ Section 12‑T88N‑R2E (junction of US 61); thence
northwesterly to the N ¼ Corner SE ¼ Section 11‑T88N‑R2E (junction
of Unsigned Iowa 963).
NOW,
THEREFORE: Be it resolved that the Iowa
Department of Transportation approve the location of Unsigned Iowa 955 in Dubuque County, Iowa.
NOTE: To become effective upon adoption of this
resolution.
