DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to a review of our Primary Road System records Iowa 276 in Dickinson County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the old description of Iowa 276 in Dickinson County be deleted and the new description, as referred in the attached detailed description, be included in the Primary Road System effective upon the adoption of this resolution.

Locate Iowa 276 and its extensions in Dickinson County as follows:

Spirit Lake:

Beginning on an unnamed street at Eighteenth Street (junction US 71 and Iowa 9); thence northerly, northwesterly and northeasterly to the north corporation line (south corporation line of the City of Orleans) connecting with an unnamed street.

Orleans:

Beginning on the south corporation line (north corporation line of the City of Spirit Lake) connecting with an unnamed street; thence northerly and westerly to the west corporation line connecting with an unnamed street.

Beginning on the west corporation line of the City of Orleans, connecting with an unnamed street; thence northwesterly through Section 29-T100N-R36W to the south corporation line of the City of Orleans, connecting with an unnamed street.
