Due to a review of our Primary Road System records, Iowa 3 in Delaware County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

Iowa 3 begins on the Delaware‑Clayton County line at the junction of Iowa 13 approximately 3 miles west of Edgewood, Iowa and travels in an easterly and southeasterly direction via Edgewood, Iowa to the Delaware‑Dubuque County line approximately 7 miles north of Dyersville, Iowa.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Iowa 3 and its extension in Delaware County as follows:

Beginning at the Delaware‑Clayton County line at a point approximately 600 feet east of the NW Corner of Section 5‑T90N‑R5W (junction Iowa 13), Delaware County (SW Corner of Section 32‑T91N‑R5W, Clayton County); thence east along the Delaware‑Clayton County line following substantially the section line of Sections 5, 4, and 3‑T90N‑R5W to the west corporation line of the City of Edgewood connecting with an unnamed street.
