Iowa 141 begins on the Dallas‑Guthrie County line approximately 3 miles west of Dawson, Iowa and travels easterly and southeasterly via Perry and Granger, Iowa to the Dallas‑Polk County line approximately 1 mile southeast of Granger, Iowa.

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records Iowa 141 in Dallas County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the old description of Iowa 141 in Dallas County be deleted and the new description, as referred in the attached detailed description, be included in the Primary Route System effective upon the adoption of this resolution.

Due to the relocation of Iowa 141 to bypass the City of Perry, Iowa, Iowa 141 in Dallas County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary Road System. In accordance with agreement number 76‑A‑028 and 76‑A‑003 between the City of Perry and the State of Iowa that portion of the old alignment inside the corporation line of Perry should revert to the City Street System of the City of Perry, Iowa.
