Beginning on the Clay‑O'Brien County line at a point approxi­mately ¼ mile south of the NW Corner of Section 31‑T94N‑R38W, Clay County (NE Corner of Section 36‑T94N-R39W, O'Brien County); thence in an easterly direction through the north part of Sections 31 and 32‑T94N‑R38W to the west corporation line of Peterson con­necting with Front Street.

 

Peterson:

 

Beginning on the west corporation line connecting with Front Street; thence southeasterly on Front Street to 2nd Street; thence easterly and northeasterly on 2nd Street to the east corpora­tion line.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

 

Due to a review of our Primary Road System records, Iowa 10 in Clay County should be deleted from the Primary Road System and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary Road System.

 

Iowa 10 begins on the Clay‑O'Brien County line approximately 2 miles west of Peterson, Iowa and travels easterly via Peterson to the Clay‑Buena Vista County line approximately 9 miles east of Peterson, Iowa.

 

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

 

Locate Iowa 10 and its extension in Clay County as follows:

 

Beginning on the Clay‑O'Brien County line at a point approxi­mately ¼ mile south of the NW Corner of Section 31-T94N‑R38W, Clay County (NE Corner of Section 36‑T94N‑R39W, O'Brien County); thence in an easterly direction through the north part of Sections 31 and 32‑T94N‑R38W to the west corporation line of the City of Peterson connecting with an unnamed street.
