Beginning at the west ramps of US 218 connecting with Sample Street (approximately 852 feet east and 94 feet north of the SW Corner Section 18-T94N-R14W); thence east on Sample Street to Main Street; thence north on Main Street to Greenwood Avenue; thence northeasterly on Greenwood Avenue to the east corporation line.

Beginning on the east corporation line of Nashua, connecting with Greenwood Avenue; thence east following substantially the center section line of Sections 17 and 16‑T94N‑R14W to a point near the center of the W ½ Section 16‑T94N‑R14W; thence curving in a northeasterly direction to a point approximately 700 feet east and 600 feet north of the center of Section 16-T94N-R14W; thence north and northeasterly to a point near the N ¼ Corner of Section 16‑T94N‑R14W; thence east following substantially the section line of Sections 16, 15, 14 and 13‑T94N‑R14W, and Sections 18, 17, 16, 15, 14 and 13‑T94N‑R13W to a point near the NE Corner of said Section 13 (junction of US 63).

Due to the review of our Primary Road System records, Iowa 346 in Chickasaw County should be deleted from the Primary System and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary Road System.

Iowa 346 begins at the junction of US 218 in Nashua, Iowa and travels easterly to the junction of US 18 and 63 approximately 5 ½ miles south of New Hampton, Iowa.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Iowa 346 and its extension in Chickasaw County as follows:

Nashua:

Beginning at the intersection of Sample Street and an unnamed street approximately ½ mile west of the intersection of Sample Street and Main Street; thence easterly, northeasterly, and easterly to the east corporation line connecting with an unnamed street.

Beginning on the east corporation line of the City of Nashua, connecting with an unnamed street; thence east following substantially the center section line of Sections 17 and 16‑T94N‑R14W to a point near the center of the W ½ Section 16‑T94N‑R14W; thence curving in a northeasterly direction to a point approximately 700 feet east and 600 feet north of the center of Section 16‑T94N‑R14W; thence northerly and northeasterly to a point near the N ¼ Corner of Section 16‑T94N‑R14W; thence easterly following substantially the section line of Sections 16, 15, 14 and 13‑T94N‑R14W, and Sections 18, 17, 16, 15, 14 and 13‑T94N-R13W to a point near the NE Corner of said Section 13 (junction of US 63).
