DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:
Iowa 106 begins at the junction
of Iowa 107 in the City of Clear Lake and travels easterly to a junction with
US 65 in the City of Mason City.
Due to transfer of jurisdiction
agreement number TJ‑106‑0 (10) ‑‑2M‑17, between
the City of Clear Lake and the Iowa Department of Transportation approved
February 21, 1980, that portion of Iowa 106 from Iowa 107 easterly to the east
corporation line was removed from the primary road system and reverted to the
city street system of the City of Clear Lake effective July 1, 1980.
Due to transfer of jurisdiction
agreement number TJ‑106‑0 (12) ‑‑2M‑17, between
Cerro Gordo County and the Iowa Department of Transportation approved February
21, 1980, that portion of Iowa 106 from the east corporation line of the City
of Clear Lake easterly to the west corporation line of the City of Mason City
was removed from the primary road system and reverted to the Cerro Gordo County
secondary road system effective July 1, 1980.

the City of Mason City and the Iowa Department of Transportation approved
February 11, 1980, that portion of Iowa 106 from the west corporation line
easterly to South Federal Avenue was removed from the primary road system and
reverted to the city street system of the City of Mason City effective July 1,
1980.
PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended the
description of Iowa 106 in Cerro Gordo County, as attached, be deleted from the
primary road system.

Beginning on Fourth Avenue
South on the east line of South Eighth Street; thence east to the east
corporation line of the City of Clear Lake connecting with an unnamed street.

of Section 17‑T96N‑R21W to the west corporation line of the City of
Clear Lake connecting with an unnamed street.
