DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

 

US 30 begins at the Carroll‑Crawford County line at the east corporation line of Westside, and travels in an easterly direction to the Carroll‑Green County line approximately ¼ mile north of Ralston via the City of Carroll, Iowa.

 

Due to an annexation to the east part of the City of Carroll, the present descrip­tion of US 30 in Carroll County should be deleted and a new description should be included in the primary road system to reflect this change in corporate limits.  US 30 in the remainder of Carroll County remains unchanged.

 

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

 

It is recommended to approve deleting the present description of US 30 in Carroll County from the primary road system and approve including the attached new description of US 30 in the primary road system.
