Iowa 3 begins on the Butler‑Franklin County line approximately three miles west of Dumont and travels easterly via Allison and Shell Rock to the Butler‑Bremer County line approximately one mile east of Shell Rock.

Due to an annexation to the south corporation line of the City of Allison, the present description of Iowa 3 in Butler County should be revised. The new description added should be officially included in the primary road system to reflect this change in corporate limits.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the old description of Iowa 3 in Butler County be deleted and the new description, as listed in the attached detailed description, be included in the primary road system.
