Beginning at the Buena Vista County‑Cherokee County line at a point on the west line of Section 18‑T91N‑R38W; Buena Vista County (east line of Section 13‑T91N‑R39W, Cherokee County) approximately 100 feet north of the Illinois Central Railroad; thence in a southeasterly direction along the north side of said rail­road through Sections 18, 17, 20, 21, and 22‑T91N‑R38W to the west corporation line of Alta connecting with an unnamed street.

 

Alta:

 

Beginning on an unnamed street at the west corporation line; thence in a southeasterly direction on an unnamed street to the east corporation line.

 

Beginning again on the east corporation line of Alta connecting with an unnamed street on the north side of the Illinois Central Railroad; thence in a southeasterly direction along the north side of said railroad and substantially parallel thereto through Sections 26, and 25‑T91N‑R38W and Sections 30, 31, 32 (junction of Iowa 110) and 33‑T91N‑R37W to the north corporation line of Storm Lake con­necting with Milwaukee Avenue.

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records Iowa 7 in Buena Vista County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

 

Iowa 7 begins at the Buena Vista‑Cherokee County line approximately 4 miles northwest of Alta and travels in a southeasterly direction intersecting with Iowa 110 and US 71, and thence southerly and easterly through Alta, Storm Lake, and Newell to the Buena Vista‑Pocahontas County line approximately 1 mile south and 4 miles east of Newell.

 

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

 

Locate Iowa 7 and its extensions in Buena Vista County as follows:
