DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:
Transfer
of jurisdiction agreement number TJ‑187‑1 (7)‑‑2M‑10,
between Buchanan County and the Iowa Department of Transportation, transferred
that portion of Iowa 187 from a point near the NW Corner Section 14‑T90N-R97W
easterly to the Buchanan‑Delaware County line near the NE Corner Section
13‑T90N‑R7W to county jurisdiction on June 30, 1980.
Transfer

between Buchanan County and the Iowa Department of Transportation, transferred
the road section from a point near the NW Corner Section 14‑T90N‑R7W
northerly to the Buchanan‑Fayette County line near the NW Corner Section

RECOMMENDATION:
It
is recommended the commission approve deleting the present description of

thence northerly following substantially the section line of Sections 11 and
2-T90N‑R7W to the Buchanan‑Fayette County line at a point near the

and travels northerly and easterly to the Buchanan‑Delaware County line
approximately a mile north and 2 miles east of Lamont.

RECOMMENDATION:

at a point near the SE Corner of Section 34‑T89N‑R7W (junction of
US 20); thence north following substantially the section line of Sections 35,
26, 23, 14, 11, and 2‑T89N‑R7W continuing north following section
line of Sections 35, 26, 23, and 14‑T90N‑R7W to a point approximately
600 feet south of the NW Corner of Section 14‑T90N‑R7W; thence
curving in a northeasterly direction to a point approximately 600 feet east of
the NW Corner of Section 14‑T90N‑R7W; thence east following
substantially the section line of Sections 14 and 13‑T90N‑R7W to
