DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number 99-TJ-008, between Bremer County and the Iowa Department of Transportation, transferred that portion of Unsigned Iowa 431 from near the NW Corner of Section 32-T92N-R14W; thence easterly and southeasterly through Section 32 to the west corporation line of the City of Waverly connecting to 35th Street Northwest to county jurisdiction on February 1, 2001.

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number 98-TJ-002, between the City of Waverly and the Iowa Department of Transportation, transferred that portion of Unsigned Iowa 431 from 35th Street Northwest at the west corporation line; thence southeasterly and southerly to 5th Avenue Northwest; thence easterly to 20th Street Northwest; thence southerly to Bremer Avenue (junction of Iowa 3) to city jurisdiction on February 1, 2001.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended to approve deleting the present description of Unsigned Iowa 431 and its extensions in Bremer County from the Primary Road System.

Beginning on 35th Street Northwest at the west corporation line; thence southeasterly and southerly to 5th Avenue Northwest; thence easterly to 20th Street Northwest; thence southerly to Bremer Avenue (junction of Iowa 3).
