DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

 

Due to the relocation of US 218 in Waterloo in 1992, the routing for US 63 was revised and the official description in the Primary Road System should be revised to reflect this change.

 

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

 

It is recommended the old description of US 63 in Black Hawk County be deleted from the Primary Road System and the new description, as described in the attachment, be included in the Primary Road System.

 


New Description - US 63 and its extensions in Black Hawk County described as follows:

 

Beginning on the Black Hawk-Tama County line at a point near the SW Corner of Section 35-­T87N-Rl4W, Black Hawk County (NW Corner of Section 2-T86N-Rl4W, Tama County); thence north following substantially the section line through Sections 35, 26, 23, 14, 11 and 2-T87N­R14W; thence northeasterly through Section 35-T88N-R14W to the south corporation line of Hudson connecting with an unnamed street.

 

Hudson:

 

Beginning on an unnamed street at a point on the south corporation line; thence northeasterly, northerly, and northeasterly on said unnamed street to the north corporation line (south corporation line of Waterloo).

 

Waterloo:
