New Description - Iowa 27 (Avenue of the Saints) and its extensions in Black Hawk County described as follows:

Beginning at the Black Hawk-Buchanan County Line on the east line of Section 13-T87N-R11W, Black Hawk County (west line of Section 18-T87N-R10W, Buchanan County), connecting with Interstate 380; thence northwesterly and westerly on Interstate 380 through Sections 13, 12, 11, 2, 3 and 4-T87N-R11W and Sections 33, 32, 29, 30 and 19-T88N-R11W, and Sections 24, 13, 12, 11 and 10-T88N-R12W to the west corporation line of Evansdale.

Evansdale:

Beginning again at the west corporation line connecting with Interstate 380; thence westerly on Interstate 380 to the east corporation line (west corporation line of Waterloo).

Waterloo:

Beginning again at the west corporation line (east corporation line of Evansdale), connecting with Interstate 380; then connecting with US 20 thence northwesterly, westerly and southwesterly to the west corporation line (east corporation line of Hudson).

Hudson:

Beginning again at the east corporation line (west corporation line of Waterloo); thence northwesterly to the north corporation line (south corporation line of Cedar Falls).

Cedar Falls:

Beginning again at the south corporation line (north corporation line of Hudson); thence northwesterly connecting with Iowa 58; thence in a northerly direction to the University Avenue interchange; thence northerly to the 18th Street interchange; thence northeasterly to the interchange of US 218 and Iowa 57 connecting with US 218; thence northerly on US 218 to the north corporation line (approximately 1300 feet north and 1920 feet east of the SW Corner Section 30-T90N-R13W).

Beginning again on the north corporation line of Cedar Falls, connecting with an US 218 (approximately 1300 feet north and 1920 feet east of the SW Corner Section 30-T90N-R13W); thence in a northerly and northwesterly direction through Sections 30 and 19-T90N-Rl3W and Sections 24, 13, 12 and 1-T90N-Rl4W to the south corporation line of Janesville, connecting with US 218 (approximately 730 feet east of the E ¼ Corner Section 1-T90N-R14W).

Janesville:

Beginning at the south corporation line, connecting with US 218 (approximately 730 feet east of the E ¼ Corner Section 1-T90N-R14W); thence northerly on US 218 to the Black Hawk-Bremer County line at the N ¼ Corner NW ¼ Section 1-T90N-R14W.

Beginning again at the west corporation line (east corporation line of Evansdale), connecting with Interstate 380; thence westerly and northwesterly on Interstate 380 to Mitchell Avenue, connecting with Washington Street; thence northwesterly on Washington Street to approximately 740 feet west of West 11th Street, connecting with an unnamed street; thence northwesterly and westerly on said unnamed street to intersection of US 63 ramp connecting with Washington Street (approximately 475 feet south of the NE Corner Section 27-T89N-R13W); thence northwesterly on Washington Street to Greenhill Road; thence northerly on Washington Street to Broadway Street; thence west on Broadway Street to the west corporation line (approximately 1520 feet south of the N ¼ Corner Section 8-T89N-R13W).

Beginning again on the west corporation line of Waterloo, connecting with Broadway Street (approximately 1520 feet south of the N ¼ Corner Section 8-T89N-R13W); thence westerly through Sections 8 and 7-T89N-R13W to the interchange of Iowa 57 and Iowa 58; thence northerly to the south corporation line of Cedar Falls, connecting with US 218 (approximately 1330 feet south of the N ¼ Corner Section 7-T89N-R13W).

Cedar Falls:

Beginning again on the south corporation line, connecting with US 218 (approximately 1330 feet south of the N ¼ Corner Section 7-T89N-R13W); thence northerly on US 218 to the north corporation line (approximately 1300 feet north and 1920 feet east of the SW Corner Section 30-T90N-R13W).

Beginning again on the north corporation line of Cedar Falls, connecting with an US 218 (approximately 1300 feet north and 1920 feet east of the SW Corner Section 30-T90N-R13W); thence in a northerly and northwesterly direction through Sections 30 and 19-T90N-Rl3W and Sections 24, 13, 12 and 1-T90N-Rl4W to the south corporation line of Janesville, connecting with US 218 (approximately 730 feet east of the E ¼ Corner Section 1-T90N-R14W).

Janesville:

Beginning at the south corporation line, connecting with US 218 (approximately 730 feet east of the E ¼ Corner Section 1-T90N-R14W); thence northerly on US 218 to the Black Hawk-Bremer County line at the N ¼ Corner NW ¼ Section 1-T90N-R14W.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended to approve adding the description of Iowa 27 (Avenue of the Saints) in Black Hawk County to the Primary Road System.
