Cincinnati:

Beginning at the west corporation line connecting with Pleasant Street; thence east on Pleasant Street to the east corporation line.

Beginning again on the east corporation line of Cincinnati connecting with Pleasant Street; thence northeasterly through Section 2‑T67N‑R18W and Sections 35, 36, and 25‑T68N‑R18W to a point approximately ¼ mile north of the SE Corner of said Section 25; thence north following substantially the section line through Sections 30, 19, 18, 7, and 6‑T68N‑R17W to the south corporation line of Centerville connecting with 18th Street.

Centerville:

Beginning at the south corporation line connecting with 18th Street; thence northerly and northeasterly on 18th Street to the north corporation line.

Due to a review of our Primary Road System records, Iowa 5 in Appanoose County should be deleted, and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary Road System.

Iowa 5 begins at the Missouri‑Iowa State line approximately 3 miles southwest of Cincinnati, Iowa and travels northeasterly and northerly to the Appanoose‑Monroe County line at the west edge of Moravia, Iowa via Cincinnati and Centerville, Iowa.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Iowa 5 and its extensions in Appanoose County as follows:

Beginning on the Iowa‑Missouri State line at a point approximately 800 feet west of the east line of Section 24‑T67N‑R19W; thence northeasterly through Section 24‑T67N‑R19W, Sections 19, 18, 7, 8, 5, and 4‑T67N‑R18W to the west corporation line of the City of Cincinnati connecting with an unnamed street.

Station 769+66 to Station 872+92.1

The section of old Iowa 5 from Station 872+92.1 to Station 921+79.8 will revert to the Town of Moravia in accordance with Urban Policy 2601.

The effective date of this action will coincide with completion of Project FN‑5‑1 (3) 21‑04.
