REMINDER: Amtrak feasibility study of passenger rail service
from Quad Cities to Iowa City to be released

CHICAGO, Illinois, and AMES, Iowa – A study conducted by Amtrak on behalf of the Iowa Department of Transportation (Iowa DOT) concerning the feasibility of passenger rail service from the Quad Cities to Iowa City on a route originating in Chicago will be released and information about the findings presented at a news conference Friday.

Directions: From I-80 take the Dubuque Street/exit 244, take the ramp toward Iowa City/University of Iowa, merge onto North Dubuque Street, turn right onto East Market Street, turn left onto North Madison Street and a parking ramp for the Iowa Memorial Union is located on the left side of the street.
