Get Involved
Everyone in Iowa has a stake in the future passenger rail service in the state. A robust network of intercity and commuter passenger rail connections can improve mobility, economic competitiveness, and community revitalization; reduce carbon emissions; and improve energy security.
To make Iowa’s vision for renewed intercity passenger rail service a reality, elected representatives are being asked to Get on Board by embracing recommendations proposed by the Iowa DOT to incrementally increase passenger rail service in the state, according to market demand, operational feasibility and funding.
A decision by the legislature to provide Iowans with a reliable, efficient and cost-effective transportation alternative requires public support. There are a number ways you can become involved.
