I-Jobs-Iowa’s Infrastructure Investment Initiative

Public Involvement Meetings

Iowa DOT

Over the next three years, the Iowa DOT will be investing a record level of funding in our state's transportation system as a result of the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, and state TIME-21 and I-JOBS programs. These programs are aimed at helping to create and retain jobs, rebuild our aging infrastructure and boost our economy.

As a routine component of the Iowa DOT’s project development process, there exists several opportunities for the public to offer input to the Iowa DOT during the development of certain projects. Iowans are encouraged to visit the Iowa DOT’s public meeting site often to learn about newly scheduled meetings and become involved.
